The Museum of LIfe and Science

Our class had an adventurous time at the Museum of Life and Science today. We didn't let the rain, or threat of freezing rain, stop us from having fun and exploring!

SOME of our explorations included:

  • Making paper airplanes and using a mechanical launcher to fly them.
  • Hearing our movements on an interactive dance floor that turned our actions into sounds.
  • Participating in a hand-washing experiment.
  • Performing an experiment in the "lab" by mixing different salt water concentrations to create a colorful concoction! We also sampled salts from seas around the world.
  • We attended a class on animals that live in the wetlands and were able to touch a salamander and a baby crocodile!
Ready for some fun!
